These beautiful aircraft were built by Jim Clark and
Jerry Gustafson. They used Powersport Avation's engine installation package, which
included the engine mount frame, engine mounts and vibration isolators, custom cowling,
radiator and oil cooler. The Powersport 215 engines included reduction drive, fuel pumps,
wiring harnesses. Jim and Jerry are also using Powersports multifunction displays in
for engine management and navigation. Powersport developed a new exhaust system to
allow Jim and Jerry to have the entire exhaust sytem including an effective muffler inside
the cowling. This new exhaust system required addition engine tuning using
Powersport's engine test stand. Jim and Jerry have been the best customers that any
company could hope for, and are fantastic aircraft bulders and pilots. There patience and
hard work have resulted in two of the most impressive RV-8s anywhere!
